Itinerary

1. 1

   Dar es Salaam to Morogoro to Mikumi National Park

   Pick-up from Dar es Salaam and transfer to the SGR station for the train to Morogoro. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Mikumi and, after a short briefing, you will start your guided game drive in Mikumi. Lunch will be served in the park. Accommodation: Camp Bastian.

2. 2

   Mikumi National Park - Full Day Game Drive

   Enjoy a full day of guided game drives across the open plains of Mikumi, often called the "Little Serengeti". Spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, lions and a wealth of birdlife. Picnic lunch in the park. Accommodation: Camp Bastian.

3. 3

   Transfer to Nyerere National Park - Evening Boat Safari

   After breakfast, transfer to Nyerere National Park. Check in at the lodge in the afternoon and later head out for a memorable boat safari along the Rufiji River, watching hippos, crocodiles and waterbirds as the sun sets. Accommodation: Africa Safari Nyerere.

   Nyerere National Park - Full Day Game Drive

   Spend a full day exploring Nyerere National Park on a guided game drive. Discover one of Africa's largest protected wilderness areas, home to wild dogs, lions, leopards, elephants and exceptional bird diversity. Picnic lunch in the park. Accommodation: Africa Safari Nyerere.

5. 5

   Morning Game Drive - Fly to Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam

   Enjoy a final morning game drive before being dropped off at the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam, followed by a transfer to your hotel. End of safari services.
